Omg, who doesnt want to go back to school tomorrow?
I dont!
I don’t. We had a snow day today (Monday, Feb. 22) so I wanna stay home even though I want spring to come lol.
Do I go back to School or Work?
I had ask this question before and now that time draws near. I am unsure of myself. I just graduated from a Junior College with and Associate Of Arts degree with a fair G.P.A. of 3.0. I stop working in the trucking industry to do this. I was a long haul trucker for about 4years and decided to go out under a disability SSDI. Although it took me 4years to get this degree I got it. But at the time I didn’t know I needed transfer classes. I am not the best in Math but know that with hard work I can pass. I will still have to take some classes at the lower division college but have been accepted to the University level to get my B.S. degree. I have been approve for FASFA. The problem is do I want to go to school or go back to trucking. Me I live in a low income apartment and will be approve by the end of the year for SEC 8 I am pretty sure of it. But I make less then $15,000.00 a year right now and I need to make a choice before the end of the week.
But I make less then $15,000.00 a year right now and I need to make a choice before the end of the week. I have people telling me about time you finish with your B.S. degree you will be almost 50 years old and depended on the system for the last 8years the other side is saying go for your degree and leave trucking alone because it is stressful as a job and is that what you really want to do when you can get a job when you get your B.S. degree and be able to sit down at a desk. The pros to going to school as I said I would get FASFA but this has to be payed back. I would get SEC 8 which would make my low income that I receive better. I can stay healthy by working out say at a good gym I would have a second degree B.S. The cons no good income for me what if I don’t do well in school then what? I would be 47/48 years old when I did receive my B.S. degree I would have put myself in a position of not being able to go back to trucking to much time off the road and need retraining once I let
Trust me, $15,000 a year is not much now, and it won’t get any better later. The ratio of what your earning power is not going to improve without a better education. Go back to school.
