only you can decide that. Are you able to save money now if so how much. YOur payments will be about 200 to 300 dollars a month that is how much I borrowed and that is where my payments are. YOu can only deffer for year they don't care any longer if you don't work you have to start paying them if not they will take your tax returns and garnish wages when you start to work.
References :
if you plan on having a career then yes. There is no investment better then education. If your not sure if your going to go back full time it still may be worth it in case something happens to your spouse. If you can guarantee that you'll never use it then don't do it.
References :
How long are you going to school? If you go through a 4 year program to get a degree, then your kids should be in school by the time you graduate. That means you'll be able to work to pay off your loans and not have to worry about daycare.

I'd strongly encourage you to looking into grants before looking into loans. I went to school for free essentially because I was approved for all kinds of grants. I payed the first tuition fee (of less than $1500) and the rest of my school was payed for through the grants and scholarships.

I also strongly encourage you to speak to your school's financial adviser. They are the experts in regards to these types of things. They work hard to make repayment of college loans as affordable as possible. Even if you do have to put your kids in daycare for the first couple years that you work, being in the career that you love and having a higher paying job will eventually be worth it. Sure, the first year or two may go solely to paying off loans and paying for childcare, but eventually you'll be out of the red and into the black! Its part of the goal.
