I’m a single parent with a high school education. In your opinion, which certificate would be best to earn

I’m a single mother who wants to have a job that can be done during school hours. Which of these would you suggest doing and why? I would be attending a community college for the first 4 and a for-profit school for the last.

Medical Office Billing and Coding certificate
Hospital Billing and Coding certificate
Medical Records certificate
Medical Office Administration certificate
Phlebotomy

Actually any of them would be great since the baby boomers are getting older and will need more healthcare. It all depends on how hard do you want to work! I’d see if I could job shadow each one-contact the local employment office and see if they can help you in that area, or even contact the different places yourself and see if they will let you job shadow for a couple of hours. Then you could ask questions like, why do you like this job, how much education did it take, on a hectic days what’s it like, on a slow day what’s it like, etc.
